Fishing Report: 10/04/2025
The Surfrider came in early with limits and some nice Lingcod like the one in the picture. The other boats are also doping well with crab numbers about 4-6 per person. The open was really nice today after some rough oceans the past 4-5 days.
Season Info:
*Daily bag limit 3 fish per angler down from 4 on September 18th 2025
*Yelloweye and Quillback rockfish prohibited at all times in all waters
*Canary daily sub-bag rockfish of 1 fish per angler
*Fishing open all depths year around
*Cabezon prohibited until 1 fish sub bag limit beginning July 1st-minimum length 16 inches- Lingcod bag limit 2 fish per angler minimum length 22 inches
*Flatfish bag limit 25 fish per angler
*Longleader fishing offshore outside 40 fathom regulators line-10 fish per angler-some specie restrictions do apply on this fishery do exist so check all ODFW regulations for this fishery.
HALIBUT SEASONS
Inshore May 1st thru August 31st 7 days a week with a 10,000 pound quota.
Offshore Spring season May 1st thru July 31st 7 days a week with a 207,768 pound quota.
Summer season is August 1st thru August 31st with a 59,256 pound quota open 7 days a week

Ocean weather forecasted to be Good Friday thru the weekend
Fishing Report: 10/01/2025
The ocean weather is looking much better Friday thru the weekend. Might be a good time to come down and go out with Dockside on a fishing and crab trip. Before the bad weather fishing has been really good and the Lingcod catch has been much better. Crabbing has stayed the same as was the whole summer really good.

Rough ocean weather
Fishing Report: 09/29/2025
We are dealing with rough ocean conditions possibly thru Thursday and looking towards Friday into the weekend when we will get back out there. Give our office a call for more weather updates. Fishing has been really good lately with the Lingcod fishing really starting to pick up so get on out there for some fall nice weather fishing.
