Daily Fishing Report
"THE FISHERMAN'S CHOICE"
Another good day at Dockside
Fishing Report: 07/29/2026
The ocean weather is two things right now that being really nice ocean conditions but very warm water around 58 degrees. Three to four days ago it was around 47 degrees. The warmer water makes the fishing a tougher go with not many Lingcod today and the salmon bite also was a little slower this morning. The good news is the winds an out of the north today and expect to stay that way for the better part of the next week. The colder water should improve the salmon and Lingcod fishing. Today the bottom fishing for the rockfish was really good and even the crabbing was a bit slower with numbers around 2-6 per person depending on the boat.

Sallmon fishing still hot as well as bottom fishing
Fishing Report: 07/28/2026
The b bottom fishing boats had another great day with limits for most of the passengers and some nice lingcod were spotted on the filet tables. In one of the best salmon seasons in many years the fish are still out there and biting pretty much everywhere. Not sure how long that will be so if you want a couple of nice salmon in your freezer now seems to be the time. Sounds like Tuna fishing will be starting in about ten days so give our office a call if interested in some great tasting Albacore Tuna.

Salmon fishing on fire and also teriffic bottom fishing
Fishing Report: 07/27/2026
The 2nd bunch of salmon this summer since around the 1st of July are swimming past the Depoe Bay area and it is terrific fishing right now. Lots of limits and a crazy amount of salmon we are reeling in. Really totally fun trips. The bottom fishing is just as good with really fast limits of rockfish and some Lingcod we are catching as we have so much time to target them after catching all of the rockfish.. Crabbing is really steady in the five to six per person range.
