Fishing Report: 07/27/2026

The 2nd bunch of salmon this summer since around the 1st of July are swimming past the Depoe Bay area and it is terrific fishing right now. Lots of limits and a crazy amount of salmon we are reeling in. Really totally fun trips. The bottom fishing is just as good with really fast limits of rockfish and some Lingcod we are catching as we have so much time to target them after catching all of the rockfish.. Crabbing is really steady in the five to six per person range.

Excellent salmon fishing today

DOCKSIDE CHARTERS

Fishing Report: 07/26/2026

HOW GOOD WAS SALMON FISHING TODAY?
The Triumph one of our 6-man boats left the harbor at 6am and was back in the harbor tied to the dock at 8:10am with a limit of beautiful Coho salmon onboard. Its is a great time to visit the coast and Dockside Charters and go out on a salmon charter with us as soon as you can schedule one. Call our office TODAY.
It was also a good day on the bottom fishing grounds as we had several boats back in early with limits of rockfish and an assortment of some Lingcod also. No word on the crabbing today but will add on about this hopefully later in the day.
Sound like another good week of ocean weather coming up as well. See yq at Dockside soon.
Added information too todays report from some of the BF boats was that the catch was RED HOT and the crab count was 5-6 per person.
The Samson had 11 keeper salmon on his triple combo today with the Tacklebuster bringing home 16 keepers with 30 or so throw back wild salmon returned unharmed to the water.
It was a special day.
