The Surfrider had close to 20 really nice sized Lings on its trip today along with a limit on the rockfish. The crabbing today was 3.5 per person. Halibut and bottom fishing boats out tomorrow and read the posting on yesterday's web postings for the upcoming Halibut dates you might be interested in.
Season Info:
*Daily bag limit 4 fish per angler
*Yelloweye and Quillback rockfish prohibited at all times in all waters
*Canary daily sub-bag rockfish of 2 fish per angler
*Fishing open all depths year around
*Cabezon prohibited until 1 fish sub bag limit beginning July 1st-minimum length 16 inches- Lingcod bag limit 3 fish per angler minimum length 22 inches
*Flatfish bag limit 25 fish per angler
*Longleader fishing offshore outside 40 fathom regulators line-10 fish per angler-some specie restrictions do apply on this fishery do exist so check all ODFW regulations for this fishery.

First Halibut trip Thursday morning

We will be running our first Halibut adventure this Thursday morning with a full boat going out on the Surfrider. We do have other Halibut tails scheduled on May 11,13,19,22,24,25,29 and the 30th. All of these trips have space available and of course they are weather permitting when we have to go so far offshore to get to the "flat ones". Give our office a call to reserve your spot on any of these future Halibut trips.

Beautiful ocean this morning
Fishing Report: 05/05/2026
Had a good trip this morning on the Samson with all 12 passengers getting there limits of rockfish and about three crabs per person for those participating. The Lingcod bite was a little slower this morning but tomorrow is another day.
