Had our first Halibut trip of the year today but the offshore forecast proved to be a little on the rough side so we switched over to a not so deep Lingcod/rockfish trip. The picture shows the results.. Great Day

2024 COHO SALMON SEASON - FROM CAPE FALCON TO HUMBUG MT.
Selective Coho Hatchery Fish Season - June 15 through August 18th, or until the 45,000 fish quota is met. Limit is 2 per person, Coho must be fin-clipped only, minimum of 16" to keep.
Non-Selective Coho Season - September 1 - 30 or until 25,000 fish quota is met. Limit is 2 per person, minimum of 16" to keep.
2024 PROPOSED HALIBUT SEASON
SPRING: May 1 - June 30th, 7 days a week. Limit TWO fish per person. For 2024, the regulation has changed and we will now be able to keep Rockfish, Black Cod and Lingcod on our offshore Halibut Trips!
2024 BOTTOMFISHING REGULATIONS
Bag Limits
• General marine fish bag limit -5 fish
o No sub-bag limit for China and copper rockfish. China and copper rockfish are a regular part of the 2024 general marine bag limit
o Cabezon- 1 fish sub-bag limit, Opens July 1st - 16 inch minimum size
• Lingcod- 2 fish - 22 inch minimum size
• Yelloweye and quillback rockfish remain prohibited.
Depth Restriction
• Open to all-depths year-round, no seasonal depth restriction.
- Gift Certificates Available. They are great for the Fishermen on your list!
Offshore deep water a total limit
Fishing Report: 05/02/2024
End results for today's two trips with one our normal onshore 5-hour trip and the rockfish bite was really good but we struggled today on the Lingcod with only a few headed for the filet table. Crabbing was 2+ per person this morning.
The offshore trip out fifteen miles or so was a terrific trip with great weather out there with total boat limits on Lingcod and rockfish. The ones we catch out there both Lings and rockfish are normally much larger ones as what happened today. Some of the Lings were described as "monsters". If interested in the offshore trips give our office a call for the next available opening.

Big Boys coming aboard

We have one vessel offshore fishing for the big fish both Lingcod and rockfish that we find out in the 600 foot plus nrange of water. This is a picture from that trip still going on out there and the fish are coming in as we expected. More later......
