Had a tough last few days with heavy northerly winds getting in our way with good rockfish bites but not many Lingcod hitting the filet tables recently. Today was much better with lots of rockfish in the fish totes and much better Lingcod fishing. The weather for the weekend sounds like much better so give our office a call for some really good spring bottom fishing.

2024 COHO SALMON SEASON - FROM CAPE FALCON TO HUMBUG MT.
Selective Coho Hatchery Fish Season - June 15 through August 18th, or until the 45,000 fish quota is met. Limit is 2 per person, Coho must be fin-clipped only, minimum of 16" to keep.
Non-Selective Coho Season - September 1 - 30 or until 25,000 fish quota is met. Limit is 2 per person, minimum of 16" to keep.
2024 PROPOSED HALIBUT SEASON
SPRING: May 1 - June 30th, 7 days a week. Limit TWO fish per person. For 2024, the regulation has changed and we will now be able to keep Rockfish, Black Cod and Lingcod on our offshore Halibut Trips!
2024 BOTTOMFISHING REGULATIONS
Bag Limits
• General marine fish bag limit -5 fish
o No sub-bag limit for China and copper rockfish. China and copper rockfish are a regular part of the 2024 general marine bag limit
o Cabezon- 1 fish sub-bag limit, Opens July 1st - 16 inch minimum size
• Lingcod- 2 fish - 22 inch minimum size
• Yelloweye and quillback rockfish remain prohibited.
Depth Restriction
• Open to all-depths year-round, no seasonal depth restriction.
- Gift Certificates Available. They are great for the Fishermen on your list!
Nice Halibut

The Halibut boat reeled in 13 Halibut for 17 people and added a limit of huge offshore rockfish and almost half of he Lingcod allotted.

Good weather and good fishing
Fishing Report: 05/12/2024
The whole weekend produced good weather and really good fishing on all our boats out with some having limits or chose to limits of rockfish snd the Lingcod were strong on some of the vessels and slower on some others. Crabbing was between 2-3 per person. We have one vessel out Halibut fishing and are still out there with 10+ Halibut on board and a slew of extra large Lingcod and rockfish.
