Sounds like fishing really good this morning with mostly limits being caught out there on the rockfish with some Lingcod also hitting the passenger fish totes.
Our Halibut boat had a tough time out there today but you never know about fishing, Halibut or otherwise. They diid have a really good day on the offshore rockfish catch bringing home limits..
The inshore fishing was plenty good with lots of rockfish limits with a number of nice Lingcod on the filet tables.

2024 COHO SALMON SEASON - FROM CAPE FALCON TO HUMBUG MT.
Selective Coho Hatchery Fish Season - June 15 through August 18th, or until the 45,000 fish quota is met. Limit is 2 per person, Coho must be fin-clipped only, minimum of 16" to keep.
Non-Selective Coho Season - September 1 - 30 or until 25,000 fish quota is met. Limit is 2 per person, minimum of 16" to keep.
2024 PROPOSED HALIBUT SEASON
SPRING: May 1 - June 30th, 7 days a week. Limit TWO fish per person. For 2024, the regulation has changed and we will now be able to keep Rockfish, Black Cod and Lingcod on our offshore Halibut Trips!
2024 BOTTOMFISHING REGULATIONS
Bag Limits
• General marine fish bag limit -5 fish
o No sub-bag limit for China and copper rockfish. China and copper rockfish are a regular part of the 2024 general marine bag limit
o Cabezon- 1 fish sub-bag limit, Opens July 1st - 16 inch minimum size
• Lingcod- 2 fish - 22 inch minimum size
• Yelloweye and quillback rockfish remain prohibited.
Depth Restriction
• Open to all-depths year-round, no seasonal depth restriction.
- Gift Certificates Available. They are great for the Fishermen on your list!

Friday's first drift on the Triumph

Boats out there today on a nice ocean and on the first drift of the day on the Triumph they brought up this nice Lingcod. More on the fishing today later on this afternoon.
