Good fishing Saturday

DOCKSIDE CHARTERS

Fishing Report: 07/18/2026

A good day on the water both with the salmon bite and the bottom fish bite. Not a lot of Lingcod hit the filet tables but there sure was lot of different species of rockfish being cleaned for the Dockside folks. The salmon bite was not limit catches but there were a ton of them caught though as you might know all of the native ones we have to throw back into the water ASAP. Crabbing depending on the boat was around 3-5 per person.

Salmon are biting as well as the bottom fish

DOCKSIDE CHARTERS

Fishing Report: 07/17/2026

All of our boats had great trips with lots of salmon action and quite a few fish hitting the filet station. One 6-man boat was only one short of a limit on the salmon. This is the best season we have had in quite a few years not only on the salmon bite but also in the amount of King salmon we are catching. The bottom fishing boats also limited on the rockfish and some Lingcod also caught. Crabbing was around 5-per person.

Season Info:

*Daily bag limit 4 fish per angler
*Yelloweye and Quillback rockfish prohibited at all times in all waters

Salmon fishing was again really good this morning with lots of action out there on a really nice ocean. One of the 6-man boats limited the crew out in about four hours with one of them being a nice King salmon. Bottom fishing on the Tacklebuster and the Sport fisher was also really good with the best bite taking place both up north and south of Depoe Bay and the crab bite being somewhere between 3-5 per person.

*Yelloweye and Quillback rockfish prohibited at all times in all waters
