Lingcod on the bite once again
Fishing Report: 04/18/2024
Two vessels out today and both the Surfrider and the Sunrise came home with limits of the Lingcod and one boat limited on the rockfish and the other was ever so close. All this was done on a perfect ocean and a sunny warm day. The crabbing was also good with the folks crabbing onboard bringing in 3-5 per person.
Should have two beautiful days coming up Friday and Saturday with a possible rise in the swell height by Sunday.

2024 COHO SALMON SEASON - FROM CAPE FALCON TO HUMBUG MT.
Selective Coho Hatchery Fish Season - June 15 through August 18th, or until the 45,000 fish quota is met. Limit is 2 per person, Coho must be fin-clipped only, minimum of 16" to keep.
Non-Selective Coho Season - September 1 - 30 or until 25,000 fish quota is met. Limit is 2 per person, minimum of 16" to keep.
2024 PROPOSED HALIBUT SEASON
SPRING: May 1 - June 30th, 7 days a week. Limit TWO fish per person. For 2024, the regulation has changed and we will now be able to keep Rockfish, Black Cod and Lingcod on our offshore Halibut Trips!
2024 BOTTOMFISHING REGULATIONS
Bag Limits
• General marine fish bag limit -5 fish
o No sub-bag limit for China and copper rockfish. China and copper rockfish are a regular part of the 2024 general marine bag limit
o Cabezon- 1 fish sub-bag limit, Opens July 1st - 16 inch minimum size
• Lingcod- 2 fish - 22 inch minimum size
• Yelloweye and quillback rockfish remain prohibited.
Depth Restriction
• Open to all-depths year-round, no seasonal depth restriction.
- Gift Certificates Available. They are great for the Fishermen on your list!
Nice ocean but super fast current
Fishing Report: 04/17/2024
The Sunrise was out there today and had to deal with a very fast moving current which kept us from doing all that well on the lingcod bite. We did catch some and they were really nice ones but did get a limit on the rockfish quota for all the folks onboard. We caught a nice variety of rockfish including Blacks, Deacons, Canaries and Widow rockfish. Crabbing continues to improve as each participant brought home around 5.5 crabs per person.

Ocean getting better every day..real nice tomorrow
Fishing Report: 04/15/2024
The boats out today had another good trip with limits on the rockfish and a little more than one Lingcod around with the toothy ones. We also brought home 3+ crabs per angler... Good Day
Real nice weather according to the forecast for at least a week to ten days...give our office a call and get out there while the fishing is really great.
